About Us

Kindred Hearts is comprised of 3 siblings, Brian Woodbury, Amy Woodbury Dillon, and Diane Woodbury Briggs.

The group began it’s journey in 1995 and through the years have gone through many changes.  There were a few years when the group was not active as individual members worked out God’s will for their lives.  However, all roads have always led back to this ministry.  They have released four CDs through the years and just released their 5th titled “Something Good” in October 2017.

Having grown up in church their music has been influenced by many gospel genres, but their family blend of harmonies is rooted in traditional Southern Gospel.  Their style encompasses a mix of great Southern Gospel classics, traditional and contemporary worship, along with original compositions that minister to young and old alike.  Group members have penned 15 original songs over their last two CD releases.  The group is also blessed with the ability to bring live music into their concert mix including keyboard, bass guitar, and also acoustic guitar.

The group currently travels part time throughout Maine and into New Hampshire.  That is changing however as the group feels a strong call to open up it’s schedule not just in Maine, but all of New England and wherever God may lead.

Kindred Heart’s mission is a simple one, to spread the Gospel message of Jesus Christ through song and word of testimony.  By doing this it is the hope  of this ministry that people will be encouraged to face life’s hardships and challenges by God’s love and abundant grace.  The goal is to build the Kingdom of God one life at a time.
